Obituary for Richard F. Loritz
Richard F. Loritz, 60, of Dyckesville, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 15, 2022, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born on March 23, 1962, in Green Bay to the late Robert and Virginia (Retzlaff) Loritz. Richard graduated from Luxemburg Casco High School. He spent over 30 years working as a well-respected maintenance technician in the paper manufacturing industry, using many of his God given skills to solve even the most elaborate issues. Richard was the jack of all trades and used that gift in being a selfless and giving person. He took pride in the many projects he undertook from antique refurbishing, woodworking or just helping with projects around his family’s homes. Richard had a wide variety of interests and talents including fishing, hunting, baking, collecting antiques, boating and live music just to name a few. His charismatic nature would light up a room and his witty and intelligent personality would draw you into him. Richard saw the good in everyone, even if he didn’t agree with the position. He was a tremendous person who is deeply loved and missed.
He is survived by his son, Patrick (Skyla) Loritz; daughter, Alyssa (A.J.) Simonar; their mother, Debra Adams; their grandmother, Natalie Montie; grandson, Arlen Simonar; siblings, Dale (Tina) Loritz, Dave (Sandi) Loritz, Tom Loritz, Robert (Donna) Loritz and Christina Motquin; step-mother, Julie Loritz; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
